Head Of Construction

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Head of Construction to lead the planning, preparation, and execution of major offshore fabrication activities for a large-scale Oil & Gas project. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery while managing contractor performance, construction execution, and multidisciplinary stakeholder interfaces. Key Responsibilities Lead fabrication and construction activities from planning through load-out. Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and project execution standards. Manage contractor and subcontractor performance throughout construction. Review engineering deliverables to ensure constructability and technical compliance. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions. Coordinate Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning activities. Participate in risk assessments, technical reviews, and lessons learned initiatives. Drive collaboration across engineering, construction, and operations teams. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of Oil & Gas construction experience on large capital projects. At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong experience in: Offshore fabrication Construction execution Mechanical Completion Commissioning Welding and lifting operations Field construction management Knowledge of international construction standards and HSE requirements. Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
