Entity: Technology Job Family Group: Ethics & Compliance Group Job Description: Let me tell you about the role You will play a pivotal role in crafting and delivering the Procurement Ethics & Compliance (E&C) agenda, helping to ensure the organisation operates with integrity, transparency and strong risk discipline. As a senior advisor, you will lead the translation of E&C priorities into practical, business-relevant actions, working closely with procurement and business leadership to embed ethical decision-making into day-to-day operations. This role goes beyond programme support—you will bring leadership, insight and challenge, using data (including concerns and assurance outputs) to identify emerging risks, strengthen controls, and continuously improve how we handle compliance across Procurement. You will also play a key role in encouraging a speak-up culture, ensuring concerns are optimally handled and used as a source of insight to drive meaningful improvement and reinforce encouraged behaviours. You will work with You will be a key member of the Procurement Ethics & Compliance (E&C) community, working closely with the Senior Discipline Manager and wider Safety, Risk & Compliance leadership to deliver the E&C programme. You will engage regularly with Procurement leadership teams and business partners to support the translation and embedding of E&C priorities into daily operations. Key collaborators include Legal, Ethics & Compliance, People & Culture and other functions, where you will collaborate to strengthen compliance performance and ensure alignment to bp policies and standards. You will also contribute to cross-functional initiatives and may engage with external networks or industry forums to bring insights and leading practices into the organisation. What you will deliver Support the delivery of the Procurement Ethics & Compliance (E&C) programme, ensuring alignment with bp policies, priorities, and regulatory requirements. Translate E&C requirements into clear, practical guidance to enable consistent understanding and application across Procurement teams. Leverage insights from concerns, assurance activities, and data trends to identify risks and drive targeted mitigation actions. Support the effective management of compliance concerns, identifying recurring themes and opportunities to strengthen controls and culture. Partner closely with Procurement and business stakeholders to promote ethical decision-making and foster a strong speak-up culture. Contribute - design and implementation of E&C initiatives that enhance compliance, awareness, and employee engagement. Drive continuous improvement and simplification of E&C processes to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and adoption. Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to support the successful delivery of E&C priorities and objectives. What you will need to be successful Degree educated or equivalent relevant professional experience preferred. Strong experienced in Ethics & Compliance, procurement governance, or related disciplines, and able to apply this knowledge credibly in business contexts Proven track record of delivering discipline-specific outcomes, such as enhancing compliance frameworks, improving control effectiveness, or strengthening ethical practices Solid understanding of regulatory, governance, and control environments, able operate expertly within and contribute to the development of policies, standards, and compliance expectations Experience supporting or delivering transformation, change, or continuous improvement initiatives within compliance or governance environments Procurement experience or recognised subject matter expertise in a E&C discipline (Business & Leadership Skills) Ability to translate strategic E&C priorities into actionable plans and deliver measurable outcomes aligned to organisational objectives Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across partners, building alignment and embedding consistent ways of working across teams Strong commercial and organisational awareness, with an understanding of how procurement brings value, manages risk, and supports business performance Experience supporting the rollout of programmes or initiatives at scale, driving engagement and adoption across diverse teams (Problem Solving & Interpersonal Skills) Strong analytical and judgment capability, able to assess sophisticated compliance or ethical issues and make sound, risk-informed decisions Ability to navigate ambiguity and change, identifying root causes and developing practical, scalable solutions Highly effective communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse collaborators and translate sophisticated concepts into clear, actionable messages Proven track record to build relationships, influence outcomes, and work collaboratively across functional boundaries At bp, we provide the following environment and benefits to you: A company culture where we respect our diverse and unified teams, where
