Assesses the corrosion condition of Plant equipment and facilities using up to date methods & techniques and maintain high safety and reliability of operations for fulfilment of production targets.</p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>Job Specific Accountabilities</H2> </div><div><p>•    Provide technical advice on materials management in the project phases to vet and endorse plans for pre-FEED and FEED and the changes in specifications of EPC for projects and ensure consistent application of technical standards across Company projects.<br />•    Ensure effective communication with end user on materials selection to ensure the consideration of enhanced Company material specifications for business requirements based on lessons learned and metallurgical investigations of failure during projects execution, commissioning, warranty periods and during design life.<br />•    Manage the update of design specifications of new materials which are available to the contractors on-line, in order to ensure the updated specifications are available timely and avoid any changes by the contractor.<br />•    Understand and verity the new technological processes used by vendors in order to provide approval to the quality of product being supplied.<br />•    Evaluate the welding technology or process proposed by the contractor to assess the benefits of using such superior alternatives.<br />•    Preparation of corrosion monitoring planning & scheduling and coordinate with Plant Availability Division to forecast requirements like scaffoldings, insulation removal, crane to have accessibility to carryout various inspection activities.<br />•    Provides appropriate testing techniques and reports inspection observations, abnormalities and recommendations attached with relevant documents like check lists, detail assembly drawings, sketches etc. indicating specific defects to the concerned Departments.<br />•    Execute routine day-to-day corrosion monitoring of Plant equipment during operating conditions as per monthly & yearly inspection schedule.<br />•    Carries out failure analysis and its prevention, Prepare material specification for plant equipment and facilities, Prepare WPS (welding procedure specification), WPQ (welder qualifications) as per section IX of ASME). Prepare quality plan for the project / modification / turn around jobs. <br />•    Study the corrosion problem of different Plant installations cooling water system, piping and Analyze the corrosion trend & recommend suitable solution to overcome the problem. <br />•    Execute Cathodic Protection system monitoring for underground pipelines, metallic / concrete structures and troubleshooting.</p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>Minimum Qualification</H2> </div><div><p>Bachelor Degree in Materials Sciences or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent Professional Qualification.</p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills</H2> </div><div><p>8 years of experience, including experience in corrosion management and integrity management within a large industrial organization.</p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>Professional Certifications</H2> </div><div><p>As applicable</p></div></div></div><br>
