We are working with Woodside Energy, seeking an Information Management Services Coordinator to join them on an initial 12-month contract with possibility of extension.
About the Role:
Reporting to the
Content Services Service Line Owner
, you will coordinate the delivery of information management services and support the ongoing uplift of Woodside’s information governance and enablement program. This role will play a key part in helping the business manage information effectively by translating business needs into clear technical requirements, coordinating delivery activities and enabling sustainable adoption across platforms, processes and teams. This role will act as a trusted information management SME, working closely with Digital Business Partners, senior stakeholders, business teams and external vendors to improve service delivery, enhance search and AI-enabled information capabilities, and support the delivery of uplift projects and service enhancements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate the delivery of information management services, uplift projects and service enhancements, ensuring alignment with service line strategy and business objectives.
Engage with Digital Business Partners, senior stakeholders, business teams and external technology partners to understand requirements, manage expectations and support effective delivery.
Translate business needs into clear information management and technical requirements, working with platform engineering teams to support sustainable implementation.
Coordinate, track and manage escalations across a range of information management activities, ensuring delivery progress is visible and issues are resolved effectively.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance information management processes, user experience, search capability, AI-enabled tools and operational effectiveness.
Coordinate effective change management, enablement and business readiness activities, including training, drop-in sessions and communications to improve adoption.
Monitor service performance, analyse outcomes and identify opportunities to improve service delivery, governance and stakeholder experience.
Support supplier and vendor engagement, including contract management activities where required.
Ensure compliance with information governance requirements, policies and external regulations while proactively managing risks.
Skills/Experience:
Deep knowledge of information management principles, knowledge management, data management, governance frameworks and industry best practices
Strong understanding of service delivery, delivery processes and the coordination required to manage priorities, expectations, escalations and outcomes.
Proven experience leading or coordinating information management uplift initiatives, service enhancements or program-based delivery activities.
Ability to understand business requirements and communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated experience supporting change management, business readiness, enablement and adoption activities.
Experience improving information search capability, user education or AI-enabled information management tools and services would be highly regarded.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Purview and related information management technologies.
Experience working with suppliers, vendors, contracts and procurement processes.
Knowledge of ITIL service management practices is highly regarded.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Management, Management Information Systems or a related discipline.
Relevant professional certifications in Information Management, Information Governance, Privacy, Cyber Security, Agile methodologies or Design Thinking are highly regarded.
