Legal Operations Coordinator
The Enterprise Legal Services (ELS) team is seeking a Legal Operations Coordinator to support Chevron's global legal matters, litigation projects , investigations, and eDiscovery (electronic document review) activities. This role will work closely with attorneys, legal operations professionals, vendors, and eDiscovery specialists to help coordinate legal projects, manage documentation, track matter progress, and support the handling of electronic information related to legal matters.

Key Responsibilities
Support the coordination of legal matters, investigations, and litigation-related activities across multiple projects.
Partner with attorneys, vendors, and internal stakeholders to track deliverables, deadlines, and matter status.
Maintain legal and case-related documentation, including logs, trackers, reports, and supporting records.
Assist with the collection, organization, review, and production of documents and electronically stored information (ESI).
Coordinate activities related to eDiscovery workflows under the guidance of experienced legal and eDiscovery professionals.
Prepare status reports, monitor timelines, and proactively identify potential risks or delays.
Perform quality checks on legal documentation, data deliverables, and case records.
Maintain organized records to support compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Communicate updates clearly and effectively to legal teams and business stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement efforts by helping maintain efficient, consistent, and defensible legal processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Operations Coordinator, Litigation Support Specialist, Legal Analyst, or related legal support role.
Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience supporting legal matters or projects, investigations, compliance activities, contract management, or litigation processes.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Experience working with legal documentation, records management, or document review processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to eDiscovery (or other legal technology solutions), litigation support, and records management..
Familiarity with RelativityOne, Relativity, Nuix Discover, or similar document review platforms.
Experience supporting document collections, legal holds, or electronic records management.
Knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
Familiarity with AI-assisted legal review technologies, Technology-Assisted Review (TAR), Continuous Active Learning (CAL), or generative AI tools.
Experience supporting multiple attorneys, legal matters, or cross-functional projects simultaneously.
