What role you will play in our team
The Maintenance Reliability Engineer provides mechanical engineering support to the business teams for pertaining to maintenance of static equipment and piping systems within the Refinery.
What you will do
Responsibilities may include:
Produce and maintain technical documentation (repair standards (MMS), specifications and drawings) necessary to maintain Refinery static equipment and piping systems based on the latest codes, industry and company standards.
Manage deviations through the creation of a Management of Change process.
Manage site "Bad Actor Lists" within the site bad actor program and progress elimination of bad actors.
Manage the PSV and TSV testing interval optimization and stewardship of same, along with reviewing valve inspection reports.
Lead Fixed equipment related RCFAs.
Stay up-to-date with the activities of the ExxonMobil/IOL Mechanical Engineering networks and AITs; initiate equipment or program upgrades, as necessary to remain current with the latest ExxonMobil standards.
Support capital project designs/specifications to ensure the reliability of the Refinery fixed equipment is maintained/continually improved.
Support turnaround activities including drawing review & specification development, and field inspections.
Develop preventative maintenance plans for static equipment.
About you
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent, as certified by an accredited/recognized institution.

Demonstrated leadership and strong academic skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
Previous refinery, chemical Plant or closely related engineering experience.
High degree of analytical and technical ability, able to communicate complex technical data clearly.
Strong attention to detail with handling high quantity and quality of work
Ability to effectively influence others without authority
Strong Interpersonal effectiveness
A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required
