Job Title: Pipe Stress Engineer Duration: 3 months (renewable) Location: Leatherhead, United Kingdom Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (4 days on-site / 1 day remote) Start Date: ASAP Payrate: To be discussed Elevate Your Career in Pipe Stress Engineer Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Pipe Stress Engineer to support the detailed engineering phase of a major project. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in piping stress analysis, a solid understanding of industry standards, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed stress analysis for high?temperature piping systems using both industry experience and commercial software tools. Apply project-specific requirements and ensure complete compliance throughout project execution. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely review and verification of isometric drawings. Perform FEA assessments on specialised piping components. Analyse piping systems for both new developments and existing facilities across Greenfield and Brownfield environments. Work independently or within a team, both in the home office and internationally when required. Communicate efficiently with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support coordinated project delivery. Support multi-centre execution strategies across global offices. Essential Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (ASME B31.3, API, BS, EN). Experience working on major EPC projects and Brownfield modifications. Proficient in Caesar II or similar commercial piping stress analysis software. Working understanding of PED regulations. Experience creating and applying project-specific procedures. Familiarity with vibration mitigation techniques for piping systems. Proactive, forward?thinking mindset with a willingness to challenge and improve existing processes. Willingness to share knowledge with engineers across Leatherhead and other global offices. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom. Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.
