Urgent Hiring | Head of Project Engineering (Utilities & Infrastructures) | Qatar Location: Doha / Ras Laffan, Qatar Industry: Oil & Gas / LNG Contract Duration: 36 Months Work Schedule ✅ 100% Onshore ✅ Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF ✅ 6 Days per Week ✅ 8-10 Hours per Day Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Head of Project Engineering (Utilities & Infrastructures) to lead multi-discipline engineering activities for a major LNG expansion project in Qatar. The successful candidate will oversee EPC engineering design and execution, ensure engineering deliverables meet project milestones, budget, quality, and safety requirements, and provide leadership across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. Key Responsibilities ✔ Lead and coordinate multi-discipline project engineering activities with EPC Contractors and PMT teams. ✔ Drive engineering execution plans, project schedules, risk management, and milestone achievement. ✔ Monitor project performance through KPIs and implement early intervention strategies when required. ✔ Manage interdisciplinary interfaces and facilitate decision-making on complex technical and project issues. ✔ Lead risk assessment activities and develop effective mitigation strategies. ✔ Ensure compliance with project safety programs, company policies, and environmental standards. ✔ Support design change management processes and associated risk evaluations. ✔ Assess contractor performance, fabrication progress, equipment testing, and site activities. ✔ Drive alignment among stakeholders and provide leadership for critical project decisions.
