Head Of Procurement

Oversees all procurement activities within company scope of supply in collaboration with Supply function. Ensures timely novation of company-initiated procurement activities to awarded contractor. Reviews the procurement activities of contractor with those of the PMT to ensure that company's procurement objectives are achieved in accordance with approved cost, schedule and quality. Stewards' contractor's performance to ensure their compliance with company's requirements and approved procedures. Reviews and approves the contractor's procurement procedures and documents. Participates in the review of the contractor's vendor quality control effort and assists contractor in resolving procurement issues and problems. Support the contractor in evaluating prospective key vendors and coordinates the addition of vendors to the Project Vendor List when required. Establishes and maintains strategic relationships with contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and key stakeholders to support successful project execution. Reviews and monitors contractor's procurement plans for purchase of CONTRACTOR's scope and contractor's handling COMPANY items. Reviews and monitors contractors' materials management plans. Works effectively within established policies and procedures and participates in the further development of these to meet evolving business and project needs. Provides leadership, guidance and development to the Project Procurement Team while promoting continuous improvement and best procurement practices.
