We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated person with a strong background in Geophysics, Asset Evaluation, and Due Diligence Studies to support oil and gas, energy, and subsurface consulting projects. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with proven project management capabilities to lead multidisciplinary teams, evaluate upstream assets, conduct commercial and technical due diligence, and provide strategic recommendations to clients, investors, and stakeholders. The role requires strong technical judgment, business acumen, and the ability to manage complex studies from inception through delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, schedule, and client satisfaction. Partner with the best: As a Principal, Disciplinary Engineering and Science, you will be responsible for: Technical Leadership Lead and execute integrated subsurface evaluations utilizing geophysical, geological, petrophysical, reservoir engineering, and production data. Interpret and integrate seismic, well, and field performance data to assess hydrocarbon potential and asset value. Provide technical oversight for asset evaluations covering exploration, appraisal, development, and producing assets. Review reserves and resources estimates in accordance with industry standards and reporting guidelines. Identify uncertainties, risks, opportunities, and value drivers associated with upstream energy assets. Due Diligence & Asset Evaluation Lead technical due diligence studies for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), farm-ins/farm-outs, investments, financing, and asset divestments. Evaluate field development plans, reserves, production forecasts, and subsurface risks. Assess data quality, technical assumptions, development concepts, and project economics. Prepare independent assessments and recommendations for investors, operators, financial institutions, and regulatory stakeholders. Support commercial teams in asset screening and investment decision-making. Project Management Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. Develop project execution plans, resource requirements, risk registers, and stakeholder communication plans. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams comprising geophysicists, geologists, reservoir engineers, production engineers, and economists. Monitor project progress and proactively manage technical and commercial risks. Ensure compliance with company quality assurance procedures and project governance requirements. Client & Business Development Support Act as a primary point of contact for clients throughout project execution. Participate in proposal preparation, technical presentations, and client workshops. Support business development activities by identifying new opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships. Contribute to thought leadership, technical publications, and industry conferences. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Education Master's Degree (minimum requirement) in Geophysics, Geoscience, Earth Sciences, Petroleum Geoscience, or a related discipline. Experience Minimum 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas, energy consulting, or upstream petroleum industry. Demonstrated experience in: Asset evaluation studies Technical and commercial due diligence studies Reserves and resources assessments Field development planning support Integrated subsurface studies Project management of multidisciplinary teams Technical Competencies Strong understanding of: Seismic interpretation and geophysical analysis Geological and reservoir characterization Reserves and resource evaluation methodologies Uncertainty and risk assessment Petroleum economics and value assessment Upstream asset lifecycle management Familiarity with industry standards and reporting frameworks. Experience using industry software for geoscience interpretation and integrated asset evaluation. Project Management Skills Proven ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams. Strong planning, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing client-facing consulting assignments. Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
