Job Overview The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing and international logistics activities to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of materials, equipment, and products. This role supports operational continuity by import/export documentation, inventory movements, and third-party logistics providers while ensuring compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable trade regulations. Working closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations, Warehouse, Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders, and external logistics partners, the Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in optimizing logistics performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Coordinate international shipments to ensure on-time delivery of materials, equipment, and products. Plan, schedule, and monitor inbound and outbound transportation activities. Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs documentation. Coordinate import and export activities while ensuring compliance with local and international trade regulations. Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and logistics service providers to facilitate smooth shipment execution. Track shipments, monitor delivery status, and proactively resolve transportation delays or logistics issues. Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and customer locations. Support warehouse operations by ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials. Maintain accurate logistics records, shipment tracking, and transportation documentation within ERP systems. Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce transportation expenses. Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, customs regulations, and international shipping standards. Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Service teams to support business requirements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize logistics processes and supply chain performance. Prepare logistics reports, shipment metrics, and KPI dashboards for management review. Perform additional logistics and supply chain duties as assigned. Skills: Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain operations. Understanding of import/export regulations, customs clearance, and international shipping requirements. Experience coordinating international freight movements. Knowledge of Incoterms, freight documentation, and customs compliance. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, or equivalent). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and logistics reporting tools. Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to coordinate multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations is preferred. Understanding of HSE requirements related to logistics and transportation. Qualifications: Diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations. Experience coordinating international freight, customs clearance, and import/export documentation. Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers. Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of shipping documentation, transportation planning, and inventory control. Experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, or Industrial sectors is preferred. Knowledge of international trade regulations and Incoterms is an advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and customer service. #LI-MD1
