Partner with the best As a Manufacturing Engineer at Baker Hughes you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and improve manufacturing systems and processes. In this role, you will be responsible for: Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products. Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify areas for improvement. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and ensure product quality. Evaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, and methods to enhance manufacturing capabilities. Train and support production staff in the implementation of new processes and technologies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Serve as the technical reference for the Manufacturing Engineering team, ensuring adherence to standards and supporting continuous improvement. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field or proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-volume production environment. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to communicate effectively in English and Italian. Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing is a plus. Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools is a plus. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position.
