As a Mechanical Product Lead Engineer, you will work in a team to develop and support products within the Technology and Project's groups. You will perform scientific and engineering efforts related to the design of new products and services, as well as control requirements and new designs for customer projects. You will deliver projects through the stages of conception, verification, production and, if necessary, commercialization. As Mechanical Product Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for: Leading a team with expertise and develop leadership within the group Leading Cost-out and trade-off exercises using lean and continuous improvement strategies Ensuring and promoting good communication across different stakeholders, manufacturing and engineering disciplines Showing and carrying constant work organization tightness Working collaborative with a global engineering community Communicating with global Customers mostly in English to discuss technical requirements and decisions related to high-complexity projects Developing Project deliverables and reviewing the work of others, such as but not limited to manufacturing drawings, tolerance studies, datasheets, schematics, P&IDs, procedures, reports, etc. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a MSc or BSc degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Controls Engineering or equivalent as required with extensive experience in a similar role; Have proven experience in project execution and engineering activities; Have broad knowledge of processes, methods and procedures within project and mechanical engineering disciplines; Experience with Subsea Project/Product Engineer background. Emphasis required on mechanical components and high pressure systems; Proficiency in communicating technically with other engineers in English across the globe. Experience with major global operators in the market, covering product and project's full lifecycle: Conceptual phase, leading to detail engineering, manufacturing and testing support, and field support. Expertise in lean practices and continuous improvement strategies are paramount. Background in leading and coordinating cost-out exercises is appreciated. A Solution and Cost driven mindset. Proactiveness and engagement to cover daily tasks. Quick learning and resilience skill sets to a changing scenario. Ability to work and/or support more than two projects running in parallel. Availability to travel and support work fronts in different locations in the globe. Desirable Skilled in Engineering Database set up and configuration (SAP or Team Center); Masters or Pos-graduation in Engineering.
