Our client is seeking a qualified personnel to join their mining operation on a FIFO 8 days on / 6 days off roster to Olympic Dam, commencing on an initial 6-month contract with ongoing work available. This opportunity is well suited to FIFO candidates looking to gain mining experience, with full upskilling provided for mine-site 2 x Electricians 1 x Boilermaker 1 x Trades Assistant What’s on offer: Initial 6-month contract with ongoing work 8/6 FIFO roster 12-hour shifts Accommodation in camp facilities Market rates (no additional allowances) Work across surface and underground operations Scope of work: General maintenance and installation Surface and underground electrical works Standard electrical duties only (no specialist electrical work required) On-the-job training and upskilling in mine-site electrical systems Requirements: Current Electrical certification (for Electrician) Current Boilermaking / Welding certification (for Boilermaker) National Police Check (all roles) Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen Strong safety focus and willingness to learn MUST be in Australia with valid working rights/ elegibility to work If you’re a qualified electrician / boilermaker seeking a FIFO role with longer-term potential, we’d like to hear from you.
