Position Summary
The
Fracturing Field Specialist
is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing hydraulic fracturing operations safely and efficiently at customer wellsite. The role provides technical leadership during pressure pumping operations, ensures equipment readiness and service quality, monitors real-time treatment parameters, and serves as the primary technical interface between the customer and field crew to optimize well stimulation performance while maintaining the highest HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Execution
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience as call-job supervisor in both land and offshore conventional fracturing operations.
Solid experience in multistage fracturing and sand control.
Expert-level knowledge in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting frac pump units, POD blenders, Sand Chiefs, and Liquid Additive Systems (LAS).
Proven leadership across all project phases: base preparation, mobilization, execution, and demobilization.
Excellent coordination and communication skills with client representatives, field engineers, resource coordinators, and cross-functional teams.
Plan and execute hydraulic fracturing operations according to approved treatment programs and customer requirements.
Supervise rig-up, pressure testing, pumping operations, and rig-down activities.
Ensure all fracturing equipment is properly configured, tested, and operational before job execution.
Monitor real-time pumping parameters including:
Treating pressure
Pump rate
Slurry density
Proppant concentration
Chemical additive rates
Fluid volumes
Adjust operational parameters as required to achieve treatment objectives while maintaining operational safety.
Troubleshoot operational, hydraulic, and mechanical issues during live operations.
Equipment Management
Verify readiness and functionality of:
Fracturing pumps
Blender units
Hydration units
Chemical additive systems
Data acquisition systems
Manifolds and treating iron
High-pressure lines and valves
Coordinate preventive maintenance and ensure equipment reliability.
Conduct pre-job inspections and pressure testing in accordance with company standards
