GTM Data & Systems Strategy is seeking a Business Data & AI Specialist to deliver data science, AI/ML, Generative AI, and automation solutions that support Gas Transmission operations. This role partners with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, Records, and Asset Management teams to identify business challenges and develop practical, data-driven solutions that improve reliability, compliance, asset performance, and decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Translate business needs into analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions. Perform data acquisition, cleansing, transformation, analysis, and validation. Develop and deploy ML models (classification, regression, clustering, NLP). Build Generative AI, Agentic AI, and workflow automation solutions. Create dashboards, visualizations, and business insights for stakeholders. Write clean Python code, maintain documentation, and support MLOps activities. Collaborate across business and technology teams to deliver operational value. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. 6-8 years of experience applying analytics, data science, and AI/ML to business problems, preferably in the energy industry. Strong Python, machine learning, and statistical analysis skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. Experience working cross-functionally and independently. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and agent-based workflows. SQL and database expertise. Power BI or similar dashboarding tools. Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP experience. Background in energy, engineering, or regulated environments.
