The purpose of the Technical Portfolio Lead is to drive the most technical parts of our work while working on key strategic items. Ranging from networking & DNS trouble shooting through to vulnerability mgmt. The role works with product owners to ensure we meet enterprise standards. Tracking and measuring the products we have. The role works with the leaders in each space and helps them handle the portfolio of products sits in their space. The Technical Portfolio Lead will build positive relationships across Technology – to apply their technical expertise and ensure product stability and compliance What you will do: Strategic Manage the reporting of product and project delivery at the portfolio level including progress reporting and risks & issues reporting Manage portfolio-level documentation like portfolio architectures and portfolio roadmaps Manage portfolio wide campaigns and initiatives e.g. building AI capability, innovation hackathons Support VP in managing portfolio budget, benefit realisation and ROI of portfolio Technical Serve as the technical advisor for product teams, offering mentorship on infrastructure, security, and cloud operations. Provide hands-on support and strategic recommendations in the following areas: Digital operations: strong skills in end-to-end product lifecycle management Risk management: controls and management of risks - ideally under ITIL framework Transformation: experience in digital transformations & elements of organisational change Cost & portfolio management: depth in cost & vendor management Document technical processes and provide mentorship to team members on emerging technologies and secure practices. Qualifications 5+ years in a digital transformation (technology-side), digital portfolio management or program management Strong evidence of being able to influence customers. Needs to be able to show an approach to influencing and carefully crafting a narrative to inspire change Multiple examples of translating deep rooted technical processes into business language and back again Experience with vulnerability management tools and patching strategies in cloud environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of supporting multi-functional teams.
