We are seeking an experienced
Head of Procurement
to lead and manage all procurement activities for a major
Restoration Project
within the Oil & Gas sector.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring procurement objectives are achieved within approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements while driving collaboration across project teams, EPC contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead and oversee all procurement activities within the project scope.
✅ Manage material purchase order processes, expediting, and on-time delivery.
✅ Monitor and steward EPC contractor procurement performance and compliance.
✅ Review and approve procurement procedures, plans, and documentation.
✅ Support vendor qualification, evaluation, and project vendor list management.
✅ Build and maintain strategic relationships with contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and stakeholders.
✅ Review contractor materials management and procurement plans.
✅ Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to the Project Procurement Team.
✅ Ensure procurement activities align with project cost, schedule, quality, and company requirements.
Requirements:
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Commercial, Law, Accounting, Sciences, or related disciplines.
✔ Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or business functions.
✔ Minimum 4 years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
✔ Experience working with EPC contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
✔ Strong knowledge of procurement activities related to Offshore LNG production facilities.
✔ Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial negotiation skills.
✔ Strong understanding of industry standards and procurement best practices.
✔ Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multicultural environments.
✔ Proficiency in project management and business software applications.
