, India Job Family Group: Finance Worker Type: Regular Posting Start Date: August 5, 2026 Business Unit: Finance Experience Level: Early Careers Job Description: What’s the role The successful candidature will be responsible for indexing & processing the counterparty invoices to perform the settlements activities for Shell trading entities. The individual is expected to collaboratively work within the team thereby ensuring the e2e settlements activities are completed on-time. Also, he/she is required to support reporting activities of the team month on month. The role offers a challenging opportunity in a fast moving, dynamic and global trading environment. What you will be doing Ensure all OTC/IG derivative settlements are made correctly and on a timely basis. Ensure margin call activities are reconciled and confirmed with credit team on daily basis. Ensure Forecast was sent to Treasury team within stipulated time. Ensure all controls are performed without any deviations. Monitor all functional email boxes and ensure all emails are actioned on time. Address any open settlements/price issue on timely manner with no impact on controls. Ensure all AR/AP open items are cleared within stipulated time. Monitor and ensure all the IGPC differences are addressed within the timeline to meet Period close/group deadlines. Review and Update SOP periodically to bridge any gap in the process First Time Right mindset with emphasis on timely and accurate completion of deliverables under stringent timelines. Flexible to work different / extended work shifts, being resilient under pressure. What you bring At least 4 years of relevant working experience Professional / Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate in accounting or finance or related business degree. Strong experience in Accounts payable/ Receivable/General Ledger domain with relevant years of experience as appropriate for the job groups. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with a short turn-around time involving complexities and competing priorities. Proven ability to work pro-actively and with minimum supervision. Good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across all cultures both within the organisation and with external counterparties. Proven ability to effectively challenge whilst remaining customer focused and exhibiting commercial mindset. Good accounting knowledge to understand the flow of entries in the e2e Accounts Payable Process to gain subject matter expertise. Work Schedule: UK business hours coverage is expected to be provided all through the month with a routine shift time of 2 pm to 11 pm. The shift will be extending during critical days of business depending on workflow of invoices.
