Fuel Your Passion As a Technician Electro-Mechanical I, you will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations through the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and inspection of electro-mechanical equipment. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will help ensure product quality, operational excellence, and adherence to safety standards. Working with advanced equipment and established procedures, you will contribute to delivering reliable solutions that meet customer expectations and business objectives. As a Technician Electro-Mechanical I, You Will Be: Performing electro-mechanical testing and assembly on equipment and components. Troubleshooting, assembling, disassembling, and testing electro-mechanical assemblies. Conducting visual inspections to verify product quality and compliance with specifications. Identifying and communicating technical issues using logical troubleshooting techniques. Performing advanced soldering and assembly of electro-mechanical devices. Achieving and maintaining required competency assessments and certifications. Performing complex tests with minimal instruction while following documented procedures. Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and parts lists. Following formal procedures, maintenance practices, and competency management requirements. Conducting basic equipment inspections and reporting operational or quality concerns. Maintaining accurate production records and supporting manufacturing documentation processes. Following Baker Hughes HSE policies, quality standards, and work instructions. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. To Be Successful in This Role, You Will: Education & Experience Have a High School Diploma or GED. Have manufacturing experience, with six months of experience preferred. Have experience working in a production, assembly, or manufacturing environment. Technical Skills Have the ability to read and interpret routine work instructions and documentation. Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and parts lists. Have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Have strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools. Have experience using precision measuring equipment. Have the ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment and assemblies. Have the ability to operate material handling equipment, overhead cranes, and/or obtain required certifications. Have knowledge of soldering and electro-mechanical assembly practices. Behavioral Skills Have strong attention to detail. Have a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities. Have the ability to follow procedures and work independently with general supervision. Have effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members. Have a proactive approach toward continuous improvement and learning. Work Schedule Have the flexibility to work a 4/10 schedule, Monday through Thursday. Have the availability to work from 4:30 PM to 2:30 AM. Have the willingness to work overtime as required by business needs.
