Senior Mechanic Technician

As a Senior Mechanic Technician, you will play a vital role performing hands-on work as part of the Coil Tubing Service Team; from overseeing work at a field site to providing quality service to the customer. Job Title: Senior Mechanic Technician Location: Western Australia Contract status: Contractor Rotation: ADHOC Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure on-time delivery from a range of equipment including: Proprietary skid and trailer mounted Coil Tubing units – CT Conventional and X-11 CT Units, Injector Heads 560/580/6100, Reels and Powerstand Proprietary skid and trailer mounted Oilfield Stimulation pumps, mixers and blenders. Heavy and light support vehicles The above equipment contains many mechanical items such as deck engines, transmissions, hydraulics, pneumatics, instrumentation, low voltage electricals,  electronic control circuits, drive lines, electro pneumatic systems, power take offs, electrical motors, power generation and distribution panels, air conditioners. Maintain assigned assets following maintenance programs outlined within a Computerized Maintenance Management System. Utilize Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems to record materials and supplies, labour costs and equipment maintenance. Update the system with entries such as: movements for equipment traceability, work orders, parts used, time to maintain, as examples. Improve equipment reliability of the Division’s assets. Ensure all assigned equipment is continually maintained at the highest standards, resulting in correct functionality and minimum failures. Improve asset availability by reducing waiting for maintenance times. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and participation in failure investigations. Follow fixed-step training programs. Interface with Field Operations to provide mechanical knowledge to our operations at oil / gas well sites. Advise users of correct operating procedures to prevent failures. Participate in continuous improvement culture, initiatives and improvement plans within the location to improve asset utilization, reduce cost of service delivery (CoSD), reduce downtime due to maintenance and to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians. Other Responsibilities Execute Maintenance Strategy and Standard Work adherence. Use QUEST (safety reporting program) for reporting situations of relevance. Undertake targeted training to enhance skills and identify suitable development courses in technical and management skills. Communicate good / best practice broadly. Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the CAT, self-assessments, and wellsite inspections. Highly self-motivated. Can work in a high-pressure environment, learn quickly, and adapts to new problems and situations. Positions are workshop based in Jandakot, with regular maintenance visits required to offshore and land oil / gas facilities Preferably applicants who have valid Australian Working Rights will be considered .
