Greetings from NES Fircroft ! We are currently seeking an experienced Specialist Underground Coal Gasification –  for a leading energy client in Mumbai, India. Overview The Technical Integration Lead will play a central role in the end-to-end development of Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) assets , spanning concept evaluation, pilot design and execution, and full-field development . The role is responsible for integrating multi-disciplinary technical inputs into a cohesive development strategy across the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead integration of subsurface, thermal, geomechanics, gasification, and well engineering disciplines across all project phases Support concept screening and feasibility assessments , including resource characterization and technology selection Drive alignment between modeling, process design, and field development planning Translate technical studies into development strategies for pilot and full-field deployment Define and maintain integrated models and workflows for cavity growth, syngas production, and system performance Support scale-up from pilot operations to multi-well, multi-pad field development Identify and manage cross-disciplinary risks, uncertainties, and dependencies Interface with project management and stakeholders to ensure technical consistency and decision support Qualifications & Experience Degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline 15+ years of experience in subsurface, thermal, gasification, or integrated energy developments Proven track record in multi-disciplinary integration across project lifecycle stages Experience in unconventional, thermal, or gasification-based projects preferred Exposure to field development planning and scale-up from pilot to commercial operations is desirable Qualifications Master’s or bachelor’s Degree in Geoscience or Petroleum Work Location Hybrid (Remote + in person trips to Mumbai) or Remote Contract Type / Duration: Day rate contract Commencement date is approx. 25th Aug 2026 for a tentative duration of 4-5 months Interested candidates are requested to share their updated CV along with: • Date of Birth • Nationality • Current Location • Driving License Details • Notice Period / Availability • Current/Latest Monthly Salary • Expected Day Rate (USD) • UCG Experience Details • Updated CV To Apply If you meet the above requirements and are interested in this opportunity, please send your updated CV to [email protected] Only candidates with relevant Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) experience will be considered.
