Communications Specialist

We are looking for a Communications Specialist to work for a major oil and gas operator in Central London on a contract basis. The role will be supporting a new joint venture to manage both internal and external communications, helping strengthen the company’s reputation, employee engagement and corporate brand. The role requires a professional who can work independently, manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Location: London, UK Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable) Inside IR35 Key Responsibilities Develop and implement internal and external communication strategy and plans aligned with business objectives. Prepare and manage communication materials, including press releases, executive communications, presentations, newsletters and corporate content. Manage internal communication channels, corporate website content and digital communication initiatives. Coordinate corporate events, town halls and employee engagement activities, working with others from Operating Companies. Support media relations and liaise with external communication agencies and key stakeholders. Ensure consistency of the company’s corporate identity, messaging and branding requirements across all communication channels. Provide communication support to senior management and manage communication projects with a high degree of autonomy. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline. At least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or internal communications. Experience in an international corporate environment is preferred.
