Roles and Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities of the Construction Supervisor include: Overall view of the role: Contributes to Construction Safety by reducing site exposure through modularization, standardization, and maximizing off-plot construction. Contributes to developing brownfield/greenfield construction strategies and planning initiatives for project opportunities pre-FID. Focuses on addressing and removing hurdles to efficient construction and actively monitors productivity on site, advising (as per the instruction) from the construction lead and the construction manager on ways to improve the productivity metrics. Identifies and monitors brownfield/greenfield construction planning initiatives for approved projects post-FID. Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure compliance. Working with the construction mechanical and piping lead and the construction manager to effectively execute construction deliverables for the project. Ability to effectively work on more than one project at a time and identify and resolve site issues efficiently. Experience in reading and understanding construction drawings (ISOs, GAD, and P&ID). Experience in reading and understanding LOSH, Test packs, hydrotesting, flushing, and all pre-commissioning requirements. Coordinate with the Contractor/Subcontractor's day-to-day mechanical and piping construction activities at site, assembly, torquing, Installation, Reinstatement, and Final completion of the subsystem, both Brownfield and Greenfield projects. Experience in rotating equipment construction activities. Including but not limited to the installation, managing the quality of the executed work, and alignment requirements till the mechanical completion stage. Wide experience in static mechanical construction activities, including but not limited to piping fabrication, good knowledge of preparing piping MTOs, weld maps, and enough experience for the piping quality requirements (NDT, PWHT, Etc.). Having strong experience in shutdown requirements, including but not limited to tie-ins and hook-up spools. Accountabilities/Expectations: Coordinate with all the team members, follow up daily with the construction lead he will be assigned to and the construction manager. Ensure that the project planning is deliverable from Engineering and that Contracts & Procurement aligns with the construction and handover sequences. Ensure designs optimally use cold work, modularization, and off-plot construction to minimize on-site HSSE exposure. Ensure to follow the final/approved design during construction. Good knowledge of international standards (ASME, API, etc.) Strong understanding of safety/HSE regulations, procedures, and PTW system. Education, Skills & Experience: BSc., University degree in mechanical. Experience and Skillset Minimum 10-12 years’ Construction experience in Oil and Gas-related projects with strong proof for piping and rotating roles. Strong leadership and teambuilding skills; supervisory experience. Experience in Static and rotating equipment installation and Alignment. Strong software skills, Microsoft Office, document websites, 3D module review, and prefer to have good knowledge of software design (AutoCAD).
