Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to support a large-scale data center construction program in San Antonio, Texas . This is a fully on-site role requiring a proactive scheduling professional who can drive project planning efforts from the ground up and coordinate across multiple stakeholders. This is not a role for someone who simply maintains existing schedules. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and self-starter who can develop initial schedule frameworks, build comprehensive master schedules, identify project risks, and guide project teams through schedule-driven decision-making. The Senior Scheduler will work closely with base building contractors, tenant fit-out contractors, utility providers, owners, and other project stakeholders to create and manage integrated master schedules across multiple project sites. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain integrated master schedules for multiple data center construction projects. Create preliminary design schedules and establish baseline assumptions aligned with key program milestones. Coordinate scheduling efforts among general contractors, fit-out contractors, utility providers, owners, and other project stakeholders. Lead planning and scheduling workshops to align scope, risks, milestones, and project priorities. Produce look-ahead schedules, resource-loaded schedules, S-curves, manpower histograms, and schedule performance metrics. Identify critical and near-critical path activities and recommend recovery and acceleration strategies when needed. Analyze schedule impacts related to delays, scope changes, and project risks. Review contractor baseline schedules, periodic updates, and Time Impact Analyses (TIAs) for compliance with CPM scheduling best practices. Verify schedule quality and integrity, including logic ties, activity durations, constraints, float calculations, and resource allocations. Prepare detailed schedule performance reports, variance analyses, and executive-level reporting packages. Develop risk assessments and mitigation plans to maintain project milestones and delivery objectives. Partner with project teams to proactively identify schedule conflicts and implement resolutions before they impact project execution. Required Qualifications 7+ years of construction scheduling experience, preferably supporting complex mission-critical, data center, industrial, or large commercial projects. Advanced expertise in CPM scheduling methodologies. Strong proficiency with Primavera P6 and related scheduling tools. Experience developing schedules from inception rather than solely maintaining existing project schedules. Ability to integrate schedules from multiple contractors and stakeholders into a single master schedule. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, procurement, commissioning, and utility coordination. Experience conducting critical path analysis, schedule recovery planning, and delay impact assessments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and lead scheduling discussions with senior project personnel. Preferred Qualifications Data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, or large infrastructure project experience. Experience managing schedules involving multiple concurrent contractors and workstreams. Familiarity with utility coordination and commissioning schedule integration. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Ideal Candidate The successful candidate is a highly proactive scheduler who takes ownership of planning efforts and can build schedules from a blank slate. This individual is comfortable working directly with multiple stakeholders, driving accountability, and creating the first draft rather than waiting for direction. They thrive in fast-paced construction environments and are capable of transforming complex project inputs into a clear, executable master schedule.
