Operational Manager Grid Security

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager Grid Security to lead IT Operations teams responsible for supporting critical processes within the electricity transmission network. In this role, you will oversee both day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing services in a complex and highly regulated environment. You will manage a team of approximately 29 professionals and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain operational excellence and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop IT Operations teams while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of operational services and business-critical systems. Oversee operational processes, incident management, change management, and continuous service improvement. Manage team capacity, resource planning, budgets, KPIs, and service performance. Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks while driving sustainable improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to optimize processes and service delivery. Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning. What We Are Looking For Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. At least five years of line management experience within a complex IT environment. Proven experience leading IT Operations or DevOps teams. Strong background in digital transformation and change management. Demonstrated people management experience, including coaching, performance management, and employee development. Knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL, Agile, and Lean is considered an advantage. Experience within the energy, utilities, infrastructure, or other critical environments is highly desirable. Assignment Details Start date: As soon as possible. Duration: 6–12 months, with the possibility of permanent employment. Hybrid working model with a minimum of two days per week on-site. Competitive salary.
