Data Center Commissioning Manager Dallas, TX 6-Month Contract-to-Hire About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Data Center Commissioning Manager to support the delivery of large-scale mission-critical facilities. This individual will lead commissioning efforts from planning through testing, startup, integrated systems testing (IST), and final turnover. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle Coordinate startup, testing, and functional performance testing of critical systems Oversee Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and issue resolution Manage commissioning schedules, documentation, and deficiency tracking Collaborate with contractors, vendors, engineers, and project stakeholders Ensure successful turnover of electrical, mechanical, and control systems Verify systems meet operational, safety, and performance requirements Required Experience Previous data center commissioning experience Strong understanding of critical power infrastructure, including: UPS Systems Generators Switchgear ATS/STS Equipment Knowledge of mechanical systems including: Chillers CRAH/CRAC Units Cooling Infrastructure Experience with mission-critical or hyperscale environments preferred Background in commissioning management, startup, testing, and turnover activities What’s Offered Competitive compensation Long-term career potential through contract-to-hire conversion Opportunity to work on cutting-edge mission-critical infrastructure projects With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
