Mechanical Engineering Lead Static Equipment

Position :Mechanical Engineering Lead – Static Equipment Location : Reading , UK Duration :12 Month Contract NES Fircroft is supporting a major project seeking experienced Mechanical Engineering Lead- Static Equipment discipline. The position will provide technical leadership, engineering assurance and design optimisation expertise throughout key project phases.  Key Responsibilities Lead discipline engineering standards and specifications. Review critical engineering deliverables and calculations. Provide technical guidance to contractor-led engineering teams. Support design optimisation and technology deployment. Ensure compliance with industry, regulatory and project requirements. Evaluate mechanical integrity and fitness-for-service assessments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Ideal Candidate: Extensive refinery or petrochemical engineering experience. Proven mechanical engineering leadership capability. Strong FEED and project development expertise. Deep technical expertise in either piping/pipelines or static equipment. Mechanical integrity and risk-based engineering knowledge. Experience supporting complex processing facilities.
