Job Group Capability Business Development Job Group Business Development Job Role Description The Business Development Associate supports commercial opportunities by assisting with agreements, negotiations, and stakeholder coordination. This role focuses on execution support, data preparation, and relationship building while developing foundational business development and negotiation skills. Responsible for engagement and coordination with Area 4 assets and JVs Responsible for interfacing with partners as required Job Role Responsibilities WHAT WILL YOU DO? Develops Area 4 Co-Venture as well as Mozambique Government engagement strategies and plans, understanding areas of alignment and misalignment, develops talking points and key messages, ensuring alignment between functions. Overseeing and coordinating the development of OCM/TCM presentations and material; quality control and functional alignment Primary Interface with key partner and government personnel in order to maximize influencing capabilities. Primary EM contact with Mozambique Rovuma Venture, interfacing on resolutions and EM actions, coordinates with both Eni and MRV to protect EM interests.  Coordinate and interface with EM functions, including Global Projects and functional support to leverage EM expertise and influencing strategy. Responsible for corporate governance oversight and activities for all Area 4 Special Purpose Entities, including MRV interface, Rovuma LNG TrainCo, shared and common facilities entities, as well as EM oversight of MRV/RLNG Boards.  This position will enhance existing and develop new corporate governance processes as necessary. Team responsible for annual AWP&B process, manages the process in coordination with EM functions Extensive interactions with senior management and support functions are required. Support Area 4 Commercial team as necessary in partner and gov’t engagements, providing local expertise. This would usually be developed through a number of assignments in engineering, operations, projects, planning, venture management, and commercial areas.  Such assignments and experience would have included significant international exposure. EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS High level of proficiency in JV/OBO Participation, Strategic Planning, development planning, Management of JV Interests (Project Mgmt aspects) Competent level in Strategy Development, Commercial Project Management, Negotiating and Influencing, Decision Analysis Competent level in Fiscal Terms & Profitability Analysis Functional Skills Negotiation Opportunity & Market Identification Contractual Structure Design Alternate Location: Nothing herein is intended to override the corporate separateness of local entities.
