We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent (E&IT) . This position is based in Sohar, Oman. Location: Oman – Sohar Position: Construction Superintendent (E&IT) Key Responsibilities Oversee the planning, preparation and execution of E&IT construction activities from yard activities through to load-out. Ensure constructability of the design in line with approved engineering drawings, project requirements and industry standards. Coordinate effectively with company, contractor and subcontractor teams to ensure successful fabrication execution. Ensure adequate resources and technical expertise are available to support construction activities. Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and specifications. Supervise and control contractor and subcontractor activities related to fabrication, Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning. Ensure construction activities meet project requirements for Safety, Quality and Schedule. Review constructability aspects and technical compliance of engineering deliverables. Monitor project progress and quality, identify areas of concern and recommend corrective actions. Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with applicable HSE requirements. Share lessons learned and best practices with contractors. Minimum Requirements Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation. Minimum 8 years of experience in a large offshore deck, topsides or living quarters project in an E&IT supervisory position. Experience working with multinational teams. Good knowledge of project execution procedures and field management techniques. Experience in fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions. Experience with Oil & Gas companies, contractors, service companies or heavy construction companies. Knowledge of relevant design standards, specifications, codes and safety requirements. Knowledge of offshore/onshore facilities and yard operations. Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
