Join our Finance Team and advance your career Shift Timings - 3pm to 12am Key Accountabilities: Engaged with BP Accounting Policy team and maintains a close working relationship with the FBT supporting key financial processes. Ensuring adherence to the financial standardization agenda across the cluster and escalate exceptions to the relevant decision makers. This includes a deep knowledge of system processes including control points Acts as finance SME to the business, applying detailed understanding of how appropriate application of accounting policy can ensure best results within policy and compliance remit. Build strong relationship with site and other stakeholders also should be equipped to handle and solve queries. Ensure that complex issues and problems by following a diverse range of policies are solved and own judgements are applied. Accountable for assuring the accuracy & completeness of the actuals / forecast process for the local entities and FBT analytical review in support of the regional finance team. Support Accounting, Reporting and Control Manager to lead the Risk Management process, ensuring it is truly embedded in local entities and appropriate mitigations are in place. Redefine procedures as appropriate. Drive continuous improvement projects (e.g. via the accounting, reporting & control network). Coaches the wider finance and business teams, to build capabilities and develop competencies and professional qualifications What You need to be successful: Relevant 9+ years finance and accounting experience, preferably in RTR domain Recognized accounting qualification (University degree, optional: ACCA and tax advisor certificate CIMA certificate) Fluency in English Extensive experience of reporting and ME processes (actuals, variance analysis) Proven track record in controls, compliance & risk management in a multi-national environment Relevant operational and/or design solution experience Experience supporting and implementing strategic plans across a team Relevant post qualification experience to deliver accountabilities of role We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company!
