Our client is seeking a Metallurgical Technician to join a site-based operational team at Cloudbreak. This 6-month contract is covering a team member on secondment.
The successful candidate will support the Process Engineering team by delivering accurate metallurgical data and ensuring laboratory activities are completed safely and efficiently.
Conduct representative plant and product sampling activities.
Complete sample preparation and laboratory testing in accordance with site procedures.
Perform metallurgical test work and assist with process investigations.
Accurately record, analyse and report laboratory data.
Support metallurgical accounting through reliable sample collection and analysis.
Maintain laboratory equipment, consumables and quality control standards.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and operational requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimising plant performance.
Maintain a clean and organised laboratory and work environment.
