Electrical & Instrumentation Coordinator Join a major brownfield refinery expansion project and play a key role in construction, commissioning and operational handover. Work client-side on a long-term capital project through to 2027. Drive contractor performance, compliance and commissioning readiness within a live operating plant environment. Our client is seeking a hands-on E&I Coordinator to support delivery of a major refinery project at Pinjarra.
Salary & Benefits
$100/hr plus super
Initial 12-month contract with ongoing project work through November 2027
Monday to Friday roster, typically 40-50 hours per week
Fully site-based role at Pinjarra Refinery
Opportunity to work client-side on a significant brownfield capital project
Exposure to construction, completions, commissioning and operational readiness activities
Fortnightly pay via NES Fircroft's online payroll system
Dedicated NES Fircroft Consultant and contractor support throughout your assignment

About You
Trade qualified Electrical or Instrumentation professional with experience in mining, refinery, processing, chemical or heavy industrial environments
Strong exposure to brownfield construction projects and contractor management
Experience supporting commissioning activities, including dry and wet commissioning
Familiarity with HV works, electrical compliance and operational handover processes
Confident communicator who can hold contractors accountable to safety, quality and procedural standards
The Job Role Working client-side, you'll support the safe and successful delivery of E&I construction, completions and commissioning activities on a major refinery expansion project.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating contractors and ensuring compliance with site standards, procedures and project requirements
Supporting HV installation, energisation readiness, commissioning and operational handover activities
Driving completions, defect close-out and turnover readiness from construction through to commissioning
Managing interfaces between construction, commissioning and operations teams
Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements
