Job Title: HR Administrator Duration: 12 months Sponsorship Provided: No Location: Kingston upon Thames This opportunity supports a global engineering and construction business operating across the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore. The role focuses on HR administration, recruitment coordination, employee documentation, and compliance-related processes that help maintain efficient people operations. This position offers the chance to contribute to a busy HR function while developing further capability in a structured and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare contracts of employment for new employees and supporting documentation for agency workers in line with new starter processes. Coordinate new starter paperwork, files, room bookings, and notifications to relevant departments ahead of start dates. Arrange pre-employment medicals and reference checks for new employees. Undertake maternity risk assessments for employees and agency workers and liaise with relevant HR and HSE contacts on follow-up actions. Maintain electronic and paper filing in a timely and accurate manner. File staff and agency worker emails in the correct electronic employee folders. Support termination processes for staff and agency workers, ensuring records are updated and notifications are issued on time. Prepare amendments to contracts and ensure records are updated accordingly. Assist the HR administration and recruitment leadership team with daily tasks and ongoing process support. Required Experience: Experience in HR administration within a busy working environment. At least 2 years of relevant experience. Required Skills: Ability to prioritise work coming from multiple sources and meet deadlines. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Strong administrative organisation and document management capability. Preferred Education & Certifications: Studying towards a CIPD qualification.
