Manufacturing Operator

Production Operator Location: Skaneateles, NY (721 Visions Drive) Contract Length: 12 Months Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime and weekend work may be required) About the Role We are currently seeking a Production Operator to join a leading manufacturing team in Skaneateles, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience to contribute to the production of high-quality electro-mechanical products. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced production environment, assembling and testing precision components while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Assemble electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies following work instructions and bill of materials (BOM) requirements. Perform functional testing in accordance with engineering standards and customer specifications. Use hand tools, torque drivers, and precision assembly equipment to complete accurate and reliable builds. Carry out soldering tasks to support component and wiring assembly. Inspect parts and finished assemblies to verify quality, performance, and compliance standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Work collaboratively with team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. What We're Looking For Previous experience in mechanical assembly, electronic assembly, or a manufacturing environment. Hands-on soldering experience and the ability to work with small components. Proficiency using hand tools, torque drivers, and precision assembly equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to troubleshoot minor assembly issues and solve problems effectively. Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform fine-motor assembly tasks. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Why Apply? Competitive hourly rate.
