Introduction
Subsea7 are looking for an Equipment Administrator to work within the Pipeline Group (PG) team on a full-time, permanent basis at our global warehousing and distribution facility based in Clydebank, Glasgow.
The role will report directly to the Equipment Department Manager and provide assistance to the wider team of equipment, warehouse and logistics personnel. Responsibilities include providing procurement, stocking reservation, equipment management and logistics support to the PG team to enable the efficient coordination, control and movement of equipment, spares and consumables to worksites and vessels in both UK and global locations.
What will you be doing?
Provide administrative support during the ‘ready for operations’ phase of project delivery
Create SAP purchase, stock reservations and service requisitions, and liaise with PG Supply Chain Management team throughout the procurement process
Update and maintain tracking systems, which provide an effective system for managing the procurement and stock inventory management of equipment, spares and consumables for operational sites and vessels
Ensure the administration process is in place to maintain the Equipment and Inventory Management System
Process equipment movement to and from sites and vessels, and monitor manifests to provide accurate equipment location summary and reports
Provide administrative support to our in-house warehouse and logistics department
Contribute to the development and improvement of systems, procedures and processes
Attend and make effective contribution to progress meetings, record and distribute minutes
Provide support during audits
What experience would we like you to have?
Relevant experience in a similar administrative based role
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of relevant computer systems, such as SAP S4 Hana, and good level of general IT skills is essential
Previous experience of procurement and stock control (ERP) within a relevant industry, such as, oil and gas, manufacturing or engineering.
Ability to manage workload effectively to meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment.
Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders and work collaboratively
