<br> <p>JOB PURPOSE:<br>Supervise and/or monitor and control process parameters of number of Hydrocarbon processing units and associated utilities simultaneously by controlling flow, temperature, chemistry, etc. through ICS (Industrial Control Systems) and/or DCS (distribution control system) in order to achieve and maintain safe operation within defined performance target.<br>KEY ACCOUNTIBILITY:<br>Control Panel Operation<br><br>Supervise the activities related to monitoring and recording of process parameters and identify deviations in operations from Control Panel, ensuring safe and efficient operations and escalating to the Operations Management when necessary. Includes maintaining continuous contact with various areas of the entire Plant to keep them informed of overall operating conditions.<br><br>Monitor via terminals and alarms, the operations of the designated area and coordinates process activities with the assigned field personnel to ensure field adjustments are made according to process parameters within operating envelop.<br><br>Control the alteration of operating conditions or product flows to allow prior isolation of equipment for maintenance and re-commence operations according to procedures, following completion of maintenance.<br><br>Review permit to work records/logs to ensure all control room operations are conducted in line with the operating parameters/procedures.<br><br>Ensure safe handover/take-over of process equipment to Maintenance teams during the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and to normalize process conditions.</p><p>Communicate with Shift Supervisor/Superintendent and outside operators during emergency situations.<br><br>Oversee the execution of safe shutdown and start-up of process facilities and utility systems based on approved standard operating procedures and guidelines.<br><br>Lead the troubleshooting and execute planned / emergency shutdowns, as deemed required, to preserve the integrity of process facilities.<br><br>Initiate appropriate action in the event of process and utility system alarms and trips.<br><br>Monitor and record key parameters for hydrocarbon process plant and utility systems.<br><br>Well aware of all operations related TCs and their mitigations.<br>Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures<br><br>Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, to accomplish operational objectives.<br>Training<br><br>Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.<br>Innovation and Continuous Improvement<br><br>Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures and functional processes.<br>Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability<br><br>Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.<br><br>Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.<br>Housekeeping<br><br>Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during operations, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.<br>Reports<br><br>Provide inputs to prepare progress reports for Company Management.<br><br>Prepare various Key Performance Indicator (KPI) checklists for management.<br>COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Internal<br>Regular contacts with Operations and Maintenance personnel, operations/shift supervisors, PTW team etc. on work related matters.</p><p>External</p><p>Regular contacts with personnel of Various ADNOC Group Companies in adjacent industries on Operations related matters (coordination, liaison, negotiation).<br>Contacts with Third Party Vendors, Products Consumers, Contractors, Service Providers. 6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification •Technical Diploma in Chemical / Process Engineering or equivalent Professional qualification. Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills • 7 years of experience in Plant operations with at least 4 years’ experience in Control room Panel operations in the oil/gas industry. • Expertise in dealing with various plant operation procedures in Oil and Gas environment. • Knowledge and skills in Plant HSE related systems and procedures. • Technical knowledge in Distributed Control Systems (DCS). • Functional and Operational skills, good communication skills, good interpersonal skills. • Scheduling and Co-ordinating, Checking, Examining and Recording. • Working with Tools and Technology.
