Partner with the best As Environmental Health & Safety Specialist - Fixed Facilities (M/F/D), you will support the Company and the Employer in ensuring the health, safety and well-being of employees by identifying hazards and supporting the elimination of conditions that could lead to injuries, fatalities or permanent impairment; the Compliance with Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, corporate requirements and industry standards and the protection of the environment through the implementation of environmental management programs and sustainable operational practices. You will work closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors and other stakeholders to promote a strong HSE culture and ensure HSE requirements are effectively implemented across the site. As an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist - Fixed Facilities (M/F/D), your main responsibilities will be: Support the implementation and maintenance of HSE Risk Management processes, including Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), Hazard Identification (HAZID) activities and other risk evaluation methodologies. Conduct routine workplace inspections, field observations and safety audits to verify compliance with legal and company requirements. Promote the Company's HSE culture, including Safe to Start and Stop Work authority programs, through active engagement with employees, contractors and visitors. Support contractor HSE management activities, including onboarding, performance monitoring, inspections and compliance verification. Assist in the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Plant HSE Management System in accordance with corporate standards and applicable regulations. Deliver and coordinate HSE training, awareness campaigns and communication initiatives. Participate in incident, accident and near-miss investigations, identify root causes and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Collect, analyze and report HSE performance data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. Support internal and external HSE audits and follow up on audit findings and action plans. Assist with regulatory compliance activities, including environmental permitting, waste management, emissions monitoring and reporting requirements. Support emergency preparedness activities, drills and emergency response programs. Maintain HSE documentation, records and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and legal requirements Provide HSE advice and support to site personnel, supervisors and managers on day-to-day operational activities Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Safety or a related discipline. Have relevant knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems; Internal Auditor qualification is considered an advantage. Be fluent in Italian and English. Have relevant experience in HSE roles within industrial, manufacturing, energy, oil & gas or other complex operational environments. Possess a good knowledge of Italian Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental legislation. Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence safe behaviors across all organizational levels.
