Sourcing Specialist Buying Procurement

Description: Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in Oracle Review and validate requisitions (PORs) before PO creation Confirm supplier setup and availability in Oracle Navigate multiple Oracle screens to: Check PO history Review inventory and supply/demand data (view-only) Support planners with accurate status updates Support production meetings by preparing PO and part status outside of Oracle (typically in Excel) Manage Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) Regular interaction with ~5 suppliers (out of ~9 total) Handle releases, expediting, and payment follow-up Support farm-out and repair activities, interacting with ~20 suppliers over short cycles Communicate with suppliers via email and calls (Teams) to, Request quotes (RFQs), Expedite materials, Clarify requirements Maintain documentation for auditability and PO attachments Requirements: SAP or similar modern ERP Oracle OSCAR and/or Oracle PASCAL will be ideal Hands‑on Buyer‑side use (not just exposure) Comfort navigating multiple modules/screens Strong Buyer Mindset High Situational Awareness Organized Confident and professional communicator Detail Oriented Strong System Navigation ability Strong Microsoft Excel skills Microsoft Outlook and Teams With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
