Bess Project Manager

I'm currently recruiting for a very exciting newly created role - BESS Project Manager - with an international C&I PV company that develops and operates commercial and industrial PV plants and BESS  (standalone and hybrid BESS projects). Key Responsibilities: Business Development Engage with customers and understand their energy consumption profiles. Perform business case calculations and financial modelling, including analysis of savings and revenue generated by BESS under different market scenarios. Translate technical BESS parameters into clear business benefits. Provide technical input for commercial proposals and customer presentations. Product & Technical-Commercial Management Develop recommendations for the optimal technical and financial configuration of BESS solutions. Quantify the business value and return on investment of energy storage projects. Evaluate the feasibility and profitability of integrating BESS with PV systems, EMS platforms, and flexibility services. Monitor regulatory developments and changes in the energy market. Project Management Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including equipment manufacturers, aggregators, and EPC contractors. Coordinate BESS projects from the development and permitting stages through EPC contractor selection and management, commissioning, acceptance testing, and handover to O&M. The role focuses primarily on oversight and coordination of contractors and subcontractors , rather than hands-on construction management. Site visits are required approximately once per month or less frequently. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with Sales Managers, Engineers, O&M Managers, and the Operations Director.
