We are seeking an experienced Projects QA/QC Inspector (E/I) to provide technical oversight of site inspection activities and ensure that Electrical & Instrumentation works are executed in accordance with Company standards, project specifications, approved quality plans, and applicable international codes and standards. Project Environment: Greenfield & Brownfield Projects Employment Type: Contract / Project-based Minimum requirements The successful candidate will work closely with the QA/QC team, Construction Supervisors, EPC/maintenance Contractors, third-party inspection agencies, vendors, and other project stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are consistently achieved. The role will involve inspection activities across procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, commissioning, and shutdown projects, including work within live operating facilities. Provide technical oversight of site Electrical & Instrumentation inspection activities and support effective implementation of the Project Quality Plan. Monitor Contractor QA/QC activities and verify compliance with Company quality requirements, project specifications, approved procedures, and applicable international standards. Review Contractor quality deliverables and provide clear feedback to the Contractor's quality focal point. Maintain effective working relationships with Contractors, EPC/maintenance teams, third-party inspection agencies, equipment/material vendors, and manufacturers. Verify that Contractor inspection processes and procedures are properly implemented. Conduct material and equipment receiving inspections, including visual and dimensional checks where applicable. Perform site inspections covering installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning activities to verify compliance with approved quality and technical documentation. Ensure the latest revisions of project quality documentation are available and that quality records are properly maintained. Prepare daily inspection reports highlighting key inspection findings, quality concerns, and outstanding actions. Conduct and participate in quality walkdowns, surveillance activities, audits, and site quality verification inspections. Record, monitor, and facilitate the close-out of Non-Conformances (NCRs) and quality observations. Monitor ongoing site activities and verify compliance with applicable technical specifications and quality requirements. Identify quality risks and support timely corrective and preventive actions. Maintain registers of quality observations and proposed corrective actions. Support the QA/QC Engineer and project team by providing technical guidance and field-level quality oversight. Ensure all inspection activities are conducted in compliance with applicable HSE requirements, procedures, and standards. Electrical & Instrumentation Experience The candidate should have practical inspection experience and knowledge of: Electrical Systems: LV and MV equipment Motors and transformers Switchgear and distribution systems PDBs CTs and relays UPS and battery banks Lighting systems Receptacles and small power panels Instrumentation & Control Systems: DCS, ESD and PLC systems Control panels and cabinet integration Pressure, differential pressure, level and flow instruments RTDs and thermocouples Thermowells and gauges Analysers Instrument tubing Other Systems: Fire & Gas systems PAGA systems Telecom systems Industrial Control Systems Network and cybersecurity equipment, including servers, switches, and workstations Qualifications Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a suitable equivalent qualification. Trade Certificate in Electrical and/or Instrumentation is preferred. Good knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation codes, standards, and industry practices, including: IEC NEC NFPA BS NEMA NETA ATEX / IECEx – 60079 Good understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control principles and practices. Experience & Technical Requirements Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Proven experience working on both Greenfield and Brownfield projects. Extensive experience conducting inspections during shutdown/turnaround projects, preferably within LNG or similar process facilities. Experience working in live operating facilities and under challenging or constrained execution schedules. Demonstrated experience in inspection and Contractor quality oversight across procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning phases. Strong knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation inspection practices, quality requirements, and applicable codes and standards. Experience identifying, reporting, tracking, and closing quality observations and non-conformances.
