At KBR, we are seeking an experienced Sr. Systems Engineer supporting the Tactical Aviation & Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office in Huntsville, AL. The Sr. Systems Engineer supports the (TAGM) Project Office by developing the system capabilities roadmap, system development plan, system integration, and validation / verification of the Aviation Rockets and Small Guided Munitions (ARSGM) weapon systems. This role ensures accurate system performance assessments, supports weapon integration on aviation and ground platforms, and contributes to test planning, analysis, and lifecycle engineering decisions. Roles and Responsibilities · Prox Fuze support to include qualification of Navy Dual Safe and working with L3 on engineering and supply issues on the single safe prox fuze · Support U.S. Navy and Air Force interactions on APKWS · Support Configuration Control Boards for APKWS run by US Navy · Coordinate with Tri-Service and AvMC S&T on APKWS future developments, including applicability to US Army · Coordinate with safety community for required documentation to support shipping/storage and materiel release for new APKWS variants · Support TAGM RAPCAP and PM ACE/SHIELD for APKWS-based systems including EAGLS/VAMPIRE/CWS-A · Coordinate APKWS Load, Assembly, and Pack with Letterkenny Munitions Center for all Army APKWS builds · Support Stockpile Reliability Testing for APKWS · XM650 container qual Basic Qualifications · 5+ years Systems Engineering experience · Bachelor’s degree in engineering · Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance Preferred Qualifications · Experience with ARSGM systems.
