About the role As the Market Marketing Manager: SADC, you will help grow Castrol's brands across Southern Africa by turning market insights into impactful marketing strategies and customer-focused initiatives. Working closely with Sales, Pricing, Demand Planning, Product Portfolio and distributor partners, you will identify growth opportunities, strengthen customer engagement and support commercial performance across multiple markets. This is an opportunity to combine critical thinking, collaboration and execution while making a visible impact across the region. What you will deliver Develop and implement regional and country-specific marketing strategies that support business growth and drive brand growth, brand positioning and customer engagement across the region. Partner with distributors and internal stakeholders to identify market opportunities, understand customer needs and deliver impactful marketing initiatives. Collaborate closely with Sales, Pricing and Demand Planning teams to align marketing activities with commercial priorities and business objectives. Lead customer marketing programmes, campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, events and promotional activities that improve customer engagement and brand visibility. Partner with Product Portfolio teams to support product portfolio decisions, launches and go-to-market activities. Use market intelligence, campaign performance data and customer insights to evaluate outcomes and continuously improve marketing efficiency. Build trusted relationships across distributor networks and cross-functional stakeholder groups to drive collaboration and successful execution. Support the development of marketing capability across the region through coaching, knowledge sharing and partnership. What you will need to be successful Experience in Marketing, Customer Marketing, Brand Management, Commercial or Sales-related roles. Experience in lubricants, oil and gas or FMCG sectors would be advantageous. Experience developing and delivering marketing strategies, campaigns and customer engagement initiatives. Commercial awareness and an understanding of market trends, customer needs and growth opportunities. Ability to build effective partnerships across Sales, Pricing, Demand Planning, Marketing, distributors and external stakeholders. Strong planning, project management and data analysis capabilities. Experience using insights and performance data to support decisions and improve outcomes. Experience working with distributors, channel partners or across multiple countries and markets.
