NES Fircroft are delighted to be working with a major Operator who are in the market for a Operations Liaison Coordinator based in Algeria on a 28/28 rotation. The OLC (Well Site & Rig) shall provide Operational Logistical support across the well site area, liaising closely with OLCs at GB and OO as may be needed. This position and is responsible for arrangements to ensure the Operational Safety of all associated Oxy expats at the rig(s). Key tasks include emergency contingency Planning and response, safety & security induction and briefing of all expats visiting and working at rigd locations. QA/QC of Physical Operational safety and support infrastructure and processes to ensure fit-for-purpose levels are provided and maintained Plan and Coordinate expat movements including scheduled infield flight drop off and pick up’s Collaborate with and Coordinate military/police assets and escorts via the SIE on-site or through other GB and/or OO field posts as appropriate Maintain an incident-Evacuation Plan and proactively develop and perform coordination and liaison processes and be ready to execute the evacuation of expats and visitos Track expat movement and provide a daily PoB Participate in field Incident management as required Write and provide Operational Safety briefings for management, Induction training, and muster drills Deliver Journey Management briefings Collaborate with HSE experts on issues such as vehicles serviceability, equipment is of the correct standard Ensure that expatriate personnel abide by procedures as instructed in accordance with Algerian and Company regulations Qualification/Experience Required: Must have qualifications and or recent detailed working experience in disciplines such as: Risk Assessment and Asset Protection. QAQC, Emergency Response, Remote Medical training, and modern communication systems. Excellent English language skills required. French &/or Arabic would be advantageous but not mandatory The role requires daily interaction with national personnel and a high level of EQ, maturity, experience, and tact. Must be a clear and concise communicator Relevant work experience in a high-threat, high-hazard environment is preferred; ideally, 10+ years. Experience in Asset Protection, Risk Assessment and/or Operational Liaison. Experience in supervising vendors/suppliers working in remote environments is preferred. Experience of auditing Asset Protection documentation as required Must have experience in liaison and communications with local support teams. Experience in remote environments is strongly preferred. Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
