Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Instrumentation Engineer to support a major Oil & Gas development project. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating instrumentation engineering activities from detailed engineering through construction and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage instrumentation engineering activities throughout project execution.
Review and approve contractor instrumentation deliverables.
Ensure engineering designs comply with project specifications and industry standards.
Manage technical queries, deviations and engineering studies.
Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and constructability reviews.
Coordinate technical interfaces with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Support site construction and commissioning activities.
Identify technical risks and implement mitigation plans.
Monitor engineering schedule and progress against project milestones.
Support project change management and risk management processes.
Required Experience
Degree qualified in Instrumentation, Electrical or Control Engineering.
Significant experience within Oil & Gas projects.
Strong EPC / EPCm / EPSCC project experience.
Experience with Instrumentation and ICSS systems.
Knowledge of SIL, HAZOP, HAZID and engineering assurance processes.
Experience supporting construction and commissioning activities.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluent English required.
