Area Lead Engineer Process

Position: Area Lead Engineer- Process Location: Beijing, China during detailed engineering then Azerbaijan Contract: 12 Month Renewable contract Overview We are seeking an experienced Area Lead for Process to support the delivery of a major gas processing facility project. The successful candidate will oversee all engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities within the designated Process Area and ensure safe, timely and cost-effective project execution. Key Responsibilities : Lead process area delivery throughout all project phases. Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities. Manage contractor performance and monitor compliance with project standards. Oversee procurement activities for major process equipment. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering interfaces. Drive resolution of technical challenges and project risks. Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, 3D Model and Constructability Reviews. Monitor project schedule, cost and performance metrics. Support safe project execution and operational readiness. Required Experience : Engineering degree or equivalent qualification. Minimum 10 years' experience in Oil & Gas projects. Strong Process Facilities and Gas Processing experience. Experience on EPC, EPCM or EPSCC projects. Knowledge of Process Equipment including compressors, separators, heat exchangers and pumps. Experience through engineering, construction and commissioning phases. Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills. Fluent English required.
