The  Representative (Material Handling Manager-MHM) shall: attend and acknowledge all of the necessary premobilization tasks including trainings, such as: filled and acknowledge all of the steps indicated into the general Pre- Mobilization check list given by his/her Supervisor acknowledge the MHM Onboarding document Complete the training: “Material handling, storage and preservation training for MHM” get acquainted with the Contract including DOR and Incoterm. ensure that the EPCs /CPSc is using a MAS. ensure that EPCs /CPSc received via official channel, the 308T5269 – Storage and preservation guideline.” propose equipment to perform (re)preservation and ensure of equipment preservation for Core products •       ensure that escalation process and contingency plan are in place, such as “STOP WORK «project delays. •       update and complete all the inspections into WMSA, including the release of inspection depending on the inspection stages. (More information in the WMSA training) •       Collect all preservation and maintenance logs/records from Field Engineer or/and EPCs /CPSc and transfer it to the commissioning responsible entity through TOP process. •       perform an adequate handover to the responsible party(ies) prior to MHM’s demobilization •       Ensure that a proper preservation log has been developed by EPCs /CPSc according to the O&M Manuals and that the log is kept up to date. representative shall ensure that laydown and storage areas are maintained in accordance with the following requirements: •       clean and well organized to avoid accumulation of rubbish, discarded packaging materials and other detrimental spoil. Scrap materials from packaging shall be cleared away and taken to the appropriate waste disposal. •       Laydown area shall be kept clean, free of debris and vegetation. Dense vegetation will bring safety issues and increase of equipment/material deterioration. •       all types of waste shall be disposed in accordance with applicable site procedures and in compliance with designated waste streams. A quarantine - are must be indicated to ensure scrap material can be segregated •       implement measures to prevent the entrance of rodents, insects and other animals and pests into storage areas or equipment to avoid contamination and mechanical damage to stored materials. •       immediately remove all stagnant water from laydown and storage areas to avoid deterioration of material. •       allow the performance of monthly inspections Representative to ensure all laydown and storage areas are being maintained in accordance with these requirements. •       Fire protection system appropriate for the type of warehouse and material storage shall be provided and maintained.
