Associate Accountant

Title: Associate Accountant Time Entry Management Responsibilities Enter employee labor hours into customer-specific timekeeping portals accurately and on schedule. Verify employee time records against internal timesheets, project assignments, and labor categories. Monitor time entry deadlines and ensure compliance with customer requirements. Maintain documentation supporting submitted labor hours. Track and enter timekeeping adjustments/corrections. Billing Reconciliation Responsibilities Reconcile billed labor and related charges between customer portals and Deltek Costpoint. Review customer portal billing data to ensure consistency with Costpoint project, labor, and billing records. Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies between customer-submitted billings and Costpoint data. Track adjustments, corrections, and resubmissions required to align customer portal records with Costpoint. Prepare reconciliation reports and supporting documentation for invoice validation and audit purposes. Support month-end and invoice-cycle reconciliation activities to ensure timely and accurate customer billing. Preferred Experience Administrative data entry. Experience with Deltek Costpoint and customer billing portals. Experience reconciling data in excel. Key Competencies Attention to Detail Analytical Thinking Problem Solving Data Accuracy Accountability Team Collaboration Time Management Education qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 1-3 years of experience in a Time entry or Finance role, preferably in a corporate environment Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
