Job Summary If you are selected as the Artificial Lift Technician, you will work with the Production Team which includes Production Leads, Production Engineers, Production Specialist, MSO’s and IOC to obtain optimal well optimization. Candidates must currently reside or willing to relocate within a 40-mile driving radius of Kenedy, TX. This position can be based out of Kenedy, TX. This is a Safety Sensitive Position. Position Overview Your responsibilities may include: Assisting with the installation of artificial lift equipment Optimizing daily performance of plungers, gas lift and intermitter settings: Utilization of ROC Link for advanced artificial lift optimization, Rock gas lift valves, Monitor wells for optimal injection rates and production, Plunger inspections Unloading wells Fluid level shots CO2 Surveys Troubleshooting and repairing artificial lift automation equipment: Pressure Transmitters, Digital Valve Controllers, I2P’s, Solenoids, Control Valves, Plunger arrival sensors Recognizing inefficient artificial lift performance and implementing solutions Communicating daily with production engineering on artificial lift optimization Assisting production department, as directed, by production lead or supervisor by helping operators, as required, with artificial lift problems and/or optimization Rod lift diagnostics Success Profile: To thrive in this role, you’ll demonstrate the following leadership competencies: Takes Accountability: Takes ownership of actions, follows through on commitments, and stands up for what is right. Basic Qualifications: Legally authorized to work in the United States Current/valid driver's license 5 or more years of direct experience with oil and gas production practices, equipment, and terminology 2 or more years of experience in SCADA systems 1 or more years of direct experience with artificial lift - Intermitters, Gas Lift and Plungers and Rod lift. 1 or more years of experience with automation and I&E equipment troubleshooting Willing and able to perform/align (with or without reasonable accommodation) with following: Work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions, Work in several different geographic locations every single day, Work both in and out of a company-owned vehicle, Wear appropriate special safety equipment, Climb heights up to 24 feet to gauge tanks, Walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull, use hand tools to make minor repairs, Work overtime occasionally, as needed, Work weekends Preferred Qualifications: Advanced level of proficiency demonstrating leadership, mentoring, team building, and people development skills Intermediate level of proficiency with written and verbal communication skills Basic level of proficiency handling multiple projects Proficient in well optimization theories and techniques Willingness to conduct training in a group setting Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering results while maintaining a safe environment Builds positive relationships with field operations and IOC based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical Physical Demands & Work Environment : Work is performed in field and facility environments and may involve exposure to harsh weather conditions, noise, heights, confined spaces Perso
