Title: Senior Specialist, People Operations The Opportunity The Senior Specialist is responsible for the delivery, continuous improvement, and governance of people processes across the employee lifecycle for the APAC region. The role provides expert operational support to leaders, employees, and People & Culture colleagues, ensuring a high-quality employee experience, regulatory compliance, and the effective administration of people systems and processes. The position partners closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and business stakeholders to drive operational excellence, process standardisation, data integrity, and service effectiveness Responsibilities The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to: Employee Lifecycle Management Manage and oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, internal movements, organisational changes, leave management, and offboarding. Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee changes within Workday. Provide expert advice to employees and leaders on People policies, procedures, and employment matters. Maintain employee records in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements. HR Operations & Service Delivery Deliver a high-quality People Operations service to employees and leaders. Act as an escalation point for complex HR operational matters. Monitor service levels and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and employee experience. Develop and maintain operational procedures, service standards, and knowledge resources. Systems & Data Management Maintain data integrity across Workday and other relevant platforms. Perform data audits and quality assurance activities. Produce regular and ad hoc workforce reports and analytics. Support system testing, upgrades, enhancements, and implementation activities. Ensure compliance with privacy and data governance requirements. Process Improvement Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives across People Operations processes. Streamline workflows through automation and digitisation. Analyse operational metrics and recommend solutions to improve service delivery. Contribute to transformation projects and operational change initiatives. Policy, Compliance & Governance Support audits and compliance reviews. Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies. Assist in the development and maintenance of People policies, procedures, and controls. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Essential 3-5 years' experience in HR Operations, People Services, Human Resources, or a related field. Demonstrated experience managing complex employee lifecycle processes. Strong understanding of HR governance requirements. Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, BambooHR). Proficient analytical and reporting skills. Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities. Proven experience driving process improvement and operational excellence initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desirable Experience in a large, complex or regulated environment. Experience in shared services or service delivery models. Project management or continuous improvement experience.
